DZ800/2SB Double Chamber Vacuum Packer — Technical Guide

The DZ800/2SB is the double-chamber build of the DZ800: two chambers share one vacuum system so loading and evacuating overlap. Here are its published specs and where it fits.

The DZ800/2SB double-chamber vacuum packaging machine is the double-chamber build of the DZ800 size. Two chambers share one vacuum system, so the operator loads one side while the other is evacuating and sealing. This guide covers its published specifications, why the double-chamber layout pays off, and what it packs. For the full DZ family see our DZ selection guide.

Why double chamber

A single-chamber machine has one lid, so the operator waits out the full evacuate–seal–vent cycle before reloading. The DZ800/2SB has two chambers served by one vacuum system: one side is loaded and unloaded while the other is under vacuum and sealing. For the same cycle time this keeps the vacuum and seal system working almost continuously — that overlap is where the extra output comes from. Actual output still depends on your pouch size, fill weight and target vacuum level.

Published specifications

The published figures for the DZ800/2SB are:

  • Model: DZ800/2SB
  • Size: customized to your product and output (confirmed in writing on the quotation)
  • Material: food-grade SS304 and others for contact surfaces
  • Power supply: 380V/50Hz or customized to your market
  • After-sales service: 1 year

Anything not listed — exact chamber and seal-bar dimensions, pump size, cycle time — is confirmed in writing once we know your pouch size and target output. We do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind.

Chamber size and seal bar

The chamber must clear your largest bag and product with clearance for the seal bar; the seal-bar length sets how many bags per cycle and the maximum bag width. Because the machine is built to order, these are sized to your facility rather than pulled from a fixed catalogue. Our capacity and film-width calculation guide shows how to estimate the numbers from your pack.

What the DZ800/2SB packs

It vacuum packs a wide range of foods in flat or gusseted pouches — typical loads include fresh and cured meat, poultry, seafood, cheese, rice and grains, pickled vegetables and frozen prepared foods. Send a sample pouch size and fill weight and we confirm whether the DZ800/2SB or another size in the range fits.

Double chamber vs continuous rolling

If your volume outgrows a double-chamber build, the usual step up is a continuous-rolling model such as the DZ-1100. For a side-by-side of every model see our DZ model comparison.

Frequently asked

What is a DZ800 vacuum packaging machine? DZ800 is a size within the DZ series of chamber vacuum packaging machines; in the DZ800/2SB the 2SB denotes the double-chamber build. The pouch is laid on the seal bar inside a rigid chamber, the lid closes, air is evacuated, the bar seals, and the chamber vents.

Can the DZ800/2SB run as part of a full line? Yes. It is normally installed alongside the rest of our vacuum packing range so infeed, discharge and control logic match. Tell us the upstream and downstream steps and we map the layout.

Can it be customized? Yes. Capacity, dimensions and voltage are configured to your facility. Send your layout and target output and our engineering team specifies the build.
